Hi guys! Is there anyone else that loves afternoon tea? I do, a lot! The traditional afternoon tea moment is one of the most popular activities that you can explore when you visit in London. My personal favourite place to enjoy the classical afternoon moment is definitely the elegant Verdi restaurant, which is located in Royal Albert Hall, Kensington. This Luxurious and lavish venue is like made for this posh social activity. Afternoon tea in Verdi has been Rated #4 on Hello! Magazine’s top 10 best afternoon tea venues in London, 2016. So the references are quite all right, huh? 😉
The reason why I like this place that much is the extremely lush environment with very traditional English twist. Everything is top class here. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful and they will definitely make you feel special. The customer service really reaches the VIP standards.
I explored the menu with glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne. The menu itself is including tasty sandwiches, gorgeous scones and various collection of delicious pastries. Not to forget the extensive selection of 11 teas from the East India Company. Price of the afternoon tea with champagne costs £40 per person. Afternoon tea without champagne will cost £30 per person. It’s not the cheapest option, but definitely worth the price. The dress code is smart casual and I reckon you should definitely pay attention into your outfit because the other customer were looking simply fabulous.
This place is a great catch up place for group of friends. Also, If you are hosting any tourists in London, the iconic building located in beautiful Kensington is must place to see. I can’t to nothing than recommend Verdi restaurant. I’ve had many different kind of afternoon tea moments in various places, but this one really made the impression.
